COO Portal is a personal productivity app built by Michele Mauri. It lets you sign in with your Google account and connect integrations — like Google Tasks, Google Calendar, and Google Drive — so you can view and manage your own data in one place.
This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it's handled, and what control you have.
When you sign in and authorize integrations, the app requests access to specific Google API scopes on your behalf. These may include:
The app uses these permissions solely to show your own data back to you within the COO Portal interface. That's it.
COO Portal uses Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication and minimal app-state storage. Any data persisted is linked exclusively to your authenticated user ID (Firebase UID) and is not accessible to other users or to the developer outside of the Firebase security rules scoped to your account.
Your Google data (tasks, events, files) is fetched in real time from Google's APIs and displayed in your browser. It is not copied to or stored on any separate server controlled by the developer.
COO Portal's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
COO Portal uses Google OAuth 2.0 for sign-in. The app does not create or store its own passwords. Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Google — the app only receives an access token scoped to the permissions you granted.
You can revoke COO Portal's access to your Google account at any time:
Once revoked, the app will no longer be able to read any of your Google data.
If you want your data removed from COO Portal entirely, you can email mauri.michele97@gmail.com and any Firebase records associated with your account will be deleted.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated through the app where feasible.
